Brent's Madison Area Dog Park Page

I'm just starting this page, so don't expect much.
After recently moving to Madison, we found that there are some great dog parks, but not much good/accurate information about them on the web. A few sites had blurbs, but the actual text seemed to be templates and was not accurate in describing whether the dog areas were fence-enclosed or what.

Thus, this page. Without further ado.

Indian Lake

Parking is at the far west side of the lake.
This is NOT a fence-enclosed area; but a bridged creek separates it from the nearest highway. You must walk your dog about 100 meters and cross the creek bridge to arrive at the off-leash area. It's mostly bush/field, but borders Indian lake on one side, forested on-leash area on another side, fenced farmland on a third side, and the creek on the fourth. About 45 acres?

Prairie Moraine Parkway
County Highway PB near Verona click for map
This is a very large enclosed area (probably 120 acres), and includes fielded, forested, bush and grass lawn areas; with many trails. If you're inclinded toward on-leash hiking, the ice age trail leads to this park.

Token Creek
Hwy 51 north of Madison click for map
There is a fence-enclosed area, including an isolated small-dog area fenced in within the larger area. The entrance area is slightly forested, but largely the area is a big (about 15 acres?) rectangular field with a peak in the middle and sloping downhill from there in all directions. Some trees and bush around the perimeter.

Yahara Heights Creek
5428 State Highway 113 click for map
From 113, go east on River Road and immediately turn south onto Catfish Court. Follow catfish court to parking.
This is fence-enclosed, except where it borders lake water. Mostly a field with trees near the water, which borders two sides of the rectangular area. Perhaps 20 acres.
